About Tax Season Updates

The NATP fall/winter update workshop (Tax Season Updates) has been an industry mainstay for more than three decades. The tradition of preparing the nation’s tax professionals to take on the important job of guiding their clients through tax season is something more than 5,000 attendees rely on yearly.

Sponsorships

Virtual sponsor  |  SOLD

$5,000 total

Workshops will run Nov. 14-16 and Dec. 11-13. Reach: approx. 2,800

Sponsorship includes

  • (1) 20-minute demo presented live  

  • Ability to use polling to collect leads 

  • Your logo on NATP’s virtual workshop web pages 

  • Your logo on event confirmation emails sent to attendees 

  • Post-event email to all attendees with additional information about your product (you provide the HTML, NATP will deploy) 

  • Electronic flyer (PDF) included in attendees’ downloadable materials 

  • Flyer mailed to attendees who purchase a textbook  

    • About 50% of attendees order the book 

    • Sponsor provides 1,200 flyers with recommended size of 8” x 10.5” by Sept. 29 (larger flyers may be damaged during mailing)

There is no expo hall for the in-person or virtual events. The attendee list will not be provided for any sponsorship.

Workshops start Oct. 23 and end the first week of December. Reach: approx. 3,000

  • Your logo on NATP’s in-person workshop web pages 

  • Your logo on event confirmation emails sent to attendees 

  • Your advertisement in the front cover of the event’s textbook and e-book 

  • Your designed ad in the ad loops played at all 80+ locations  

  • Follow-up email to all attendees with additional information about your product (you provide the HTML, NATP will deploy weekly after workshops) 

  • Additional handouts included at each event (optional, cost of printing and shipping to NATP not included in sponsorship). NATP will work with on-site volunteers and instructors to assure that the handout is provided to all attendees.

Attendee demographics

Our attendees are small business owners with typically 2-3 employees. While the main focus of their firm is typically tax preparation and tax consulting, many offer additional services (or are interested in offering) like payroll, bookkeeping, financial planning, insurance and tax representation.
